At present, out of the 11 vaccines listed in the vaccination scheduleonly 3 are required (diphtheria, poliomyelitis, tetanus). The others are only recommended (whooping cough, hepatitis, measles ...).
Attention, however, 11 vaccines are mandatory for babies born from 1 January 2018: diphtheria, poliomyelitis, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, Haemophilus influenzae (responsible for meningitis), pneumococcal and meningococcal C.
