Finally, that's it, your baby is here and we will have to declare the birth of this little wonder! How long do you have to do it? Who should do it and how? Answers with our quiz.
Question (1/8)
How many days do you have to declare the birth of your baby?
3 days5 days10 daysReply
You have today 5 days (instead of 3 before) to declare the birth of your baby. , the delay is 8 days in some communes too far from the nearest registrar of civil status. Namely, if the birth takes place on a Wednesday, a Thursday or a Friday, this delay is postponed until the following Monday. And if the deadline expires on a weekend or holiday, it will be extended until the next business day.
